Those dreamy early days are such a haze of sleep deprivation and sweet-smelling newborn softness that, looking back on that time with my own two babes, it's hard to remember anything clearly. I'm so thankful for the photos I have because they really do bring it back for me in a far more socially-acceptable way than sniffing other people's newborn babies (no? Just me?). At a time when you're already in survival mode though, photographing your newborn is a task that's easily lost between the cracks. So let me worry about it for you, while you get back to snuggling that babe (and catching sleep when and where you can!).
